Mindful Living with Ayurveda

Mindful living.

What does this mean to me and how can Ayurveda help us achieve this?

Mindful living to me is living with intention and purpose.

Small daily acts and rituals weave wellness into your life and to those around you. When we are in the flow life becomes a prayer in Motion.

This is how Ayurveda makes me feel.  Like a prayer in motion.

According to Ayurevda we are spirit experiencing physical form, pure consciousness expressing itself physically thru the elements. Each person is born with a specific body constitution, or Prakruti or combination of elements.  Each element has its own set of qualities or attributes known as Gunas.  These elements combine to make up the 3 Doshas-

Vata is Air and Ether

Pitta is fire and water

Kapha is Earth and water

The qualities we find in the elements can be found in the Doshas or a person's Prakruti.

To keep a healthy balanced state of being we should learn to balance the elements that we are made of.

This is done by eating foods that are suited for our doshas or body types and maintaining a clean high vibration lifestyle by Eating whole foods ,exercise, meditation, breath work, right thought and right action.  Ayurveda is the Science or Knowledge of life.  This beautiful healing system has been passed down thru seekers of truth and wellness for thousands of years.

The main goal of Ayurveda is to keep people healthy as they pursue their spiritual goals.

To keep the body in a state of health free of disease.

To show us how to use health and as a basis for or as part of the path to enlightenment.

Ayurveda is the most comprehensive Holistic System.  For thousands of years it has taught the people of their Divine Nature and how to properly care for themselves and achieve true health and beauty thru spirituality, nutrition, fitness, bodywork, mindfulness.  A complete approach to mind body and spirit that is making a comeback as people begin to seek true health, wellness and purpose.
