Mindful Living with Ayurveda

  Mindful living. What does this mean to me and how can Ayurveda help us achieve this? Mindful living to me is living with intention and purpose.   Small daily acts and rituals weave wellness into your life and to those around you. When we are in the flow life becomes a prayer in Motion.   This is how Ayurveda makes me feel.   Like a prayer in motion. According to Ayurevda we are spirit experiencing physical form, pure consciousness expressing itself physically thru the elements. Each person is born with a specific body constitution, or Prakruti or combination of elements.   Each element has its own set of qualities or attributes known as Gunas.   These elements combine to make up the 3 Doshas- Vata is Air and Ether Pitta is fire and water Kapha is Earth and water The qualities we find in the elements can be found in the Doshas or a person's Prakruti.
